Cristina Myers has been a Spanish teacher at Oakmont High School since 2013. She received her Bachelor's degree in Spanish in 2008. After working for a few years she decided to go back to school and get her teaching credential from Sacramento State University Sacramento. She received her credential in 2013 and was hired at Oakmont upon graduating. 

Cristina lives in East Sacramento with her husband and two sons. Having two young children keeps them busy and Cristina loves spending time with her family. She loves taking short weekend trips to the coast and the mountains with her family. She also loves to travel and has gone to Spain twice and grew up going to Guadalajara, Mexico to visit her large family. She shares her cultural and language experiences with her students.
