Ms. Ruth Bartlett
Ruth Bartlett began her career as a special educator in 1993. Ms.Bartlett has taught for the Roseville Joint Union High School District as a Functional Skills teacher since 2006. Ms. Bartlett received a Bachelors of Art in Fine Arts from California State University Sacramento, as well as a single subject credential in Fine Arts and a Professional Clear Specialist Credential in Special Education from CSU Sacramento for individuals with moderate to severe disabilities. Ms. Bartlett is committed to continual growth and development in her field by stepping up to serve as a coach in her department as well as attending regular training sessions and workshops on evidence-based practices for individuals with autistic spectrum disorders. She has a passion for increasing independence in her students, and in teaching them to advocate for their needs.
In her leisure time, Ruth enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling through California and abroad. She also enjoys: hiking, cycling, baking, watching period dramas, cooking varied cultural dishes and watercolor painting. Keep Calm and Put the Kettle On!
