Mrs. Helen Klug

Hello, my name is Helen Klug and I am proud to serve students as a Specialized Academic Instructor at Oakmont High School. Having moved to California as a teen, I am the product of a Roseville Joint Union High School District education and an Oakmont High School alumna. Like many in the area, I am among those who took advantage of local educational opportunities and earned my degrees and credentials at Sierra Community College and California State University, Sacramento, respectively.

I firmly believe in the power of positivity and life-long learning - as my BEST self, and that of my students - is yet to be! It is a tremendous privilege to be part of the symbiotic learning that takes place each and every day in the classroom!

When not in the classroom, I wholeheartedly treasure the moments spent with my children and grandchildren. As a nature enthusiast, I enjoy riding my horses, hiking, camping and kayaking - "And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul" (John Muir).

Having a strong belief and commitment to community service is reflected in my being a registered Disaster Service Worker and a member of the Placer County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Mounted Unit.
