Greetings.  My name is Rick Campbell and I am a long-time teacher in the social studies department here at Oakmont High School.  Initially, after completing my degree in Economics and playing collegiate basketball at Sacramento State University in 1991, I went to work in the private sector.  I worked in sales and marketing, and later banking, before starting my 20-year coaching career here in 1995.  At that point, I went back to school to get my California Teaching Credential from National University and began teaching here in 1999, and I have been here ever since. 

When not here on campus, you can find me spending time with my two boys (both Oakmont Grads) and/or on the golf course.  In addition, I am a sports junkie so you can find me following the Philadelphia Phillies, the Miami Dolphins, all NCAA sports, and golf.
