Mrs. Sondra Myles
Sondra Myles, is an Assistant Principal at Oakmont High School. She grew up in Fair Oaks, went to American River College where she played soccer, and graduated from Sac State with her teaching credential. She started her career in education as a soccer coach and Social Studies teacher in the Grant Joint Union High School District. She made her way to Oakmont High School in 1995. Mrs. Myles taught in the OHS Health Careers Academy and coached both boys and girls soccer. She became the Director of Activities in 2001 and in 2013 she became an Assistant Principal. She loves working with all of the students here at Oakmont and works to create a campus where all students feel safe and want to learn. Supporting student athletes is one of her most important jobs as she oversees the OHS Athletics program. Her other job duties include overseeing Student Activities, the WASC process and the Equal Opportunity Schools program.
Mrs. Myles and her husband can be seen around the Roseville area watching their four children as they participate in various baseball, football, soccer, tennis, wrestling and Irish dance events. She enjoys spending time with her family traveling, boating, hiking, camping and anything outdoors. She and her husband spend their spare time working on their house and property where she cares for her dogs, cat, chickens and her garden. She was born in Nebraska and is a Forever Faithful Husker Fan but loves being a Viking!
