B.A. in Spanish and International Relations, from University of California, Davis. Single Subject Credential in Spanish and CLAD Certified from National University.
Born and raised in Tracy, CA. My parents and family are originally from Spain. I have traveled to and lived in Spain to get to know my family and immerse in the culture. I have also traveled extensively throughout Europe. I attended and graduated from Tracy High School.
I attended and graduated from the University of California, Davis with a double major in Spanish and International Relations. I moved to San Francisco and worked in the private sector for a few years. I worked for an Investing Banking Firm as a Research Analyst. After this time, I decided to become a teacher. I attended and graduated from National University with a Single Subject Credential for Spanish and CLAD Certified. I started teaching at Gunderson High School in San Jose in 1996. In 1998, I started teaching at Roseville High School and have been here ever since. I teach Spanish 2, and 3.
I am married and have two children, a college freshman daughter attending UCLA and I have a high school junior son.
I LOVE MY JOB! I appreciate it even more since my own children started middle school and high school. In my spare time I enjoy reading, running, and traveling.
