Patricia Leong
I have had the honor of teaching Visual Arts for 24 years and have spent 20 years here at Roseville High School. Over the years, I have taught Art 1-4, AP Art History, AP Studio Art 2-D and Drawing. I have been the department Coordinator for the Visual and Performing Arts Department since 2007.
I grew up in Palm Springs and graduated from California State University Long Beach with a B.A. in Fine Arts with an emphasis on Art Education. My focus in art lately has been painting portraits and creating murals. In addition to teaching duties, I am also the advisor for the Mural Club and Art Club.
I am passionate about art and love teaching others how to use the visual language of art and design to create their own meaningful art. My goal is to ignite a lifelong curiosity and passion for art that we see in the world around us.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My favorite pastimes are painting, visiting museums, reading, traveling and being any place that has water! My happiest place on earth is the beach!
