Bachelors of Science in Anthropology, emphasis on physical anthropology from Michigan State University. Teaching Credential from San Francisco State University
Jessica Fork
I have been a teacher in the social science program for 14 years, joining the department in 2007. I've been lucky enough to be able to teach a wide range of topics, including Government, Economics, Psychology, U.S. History, AP Government, AP U.S. History, and AP Psychology. I've also been an AVID teacher for 4 years which helped to give me a broader approach to my social science classes. I graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Anthropology (after finding out I could combine my love of science and history) and my teaching credential through San Francisco State University. I spent over 10 years working in the private sector performing archaeological services in the midwest and California as well as work in Cyprus on a Roman Site for 3 summers. My main goal as an educator is to empassion and spark a love for history and government in students which will hopefully empower them to use their voice. Beyond teaching I really enjoy camping, reading, traveling, and hanging out with my friends and family.
