Mrs. Erin Granucci
I was born and raised in Sacramento CA and attended El Camino Fundamental HS. I have a deep passion for athletics and competed collegiately in soccer. My teaching career started in Sonoma County at Rancho Cotate HS and found my way to Roseville HS in 1998. At RHS I taught PE, Health, Biology, Integrated II Science, Physiology and currently teach the PLTW Biomedical Science courses (PBS, HBS, MI and BI). I coached boys and girls soccer for the Tigers prior to holding the Athletic Director position. My husband also teaches and coaches at RHS and we have three children (all who have attended Roseville HS): Kayla (Class of 2011), Sean (Class of 2017), and Taigan (Class of 2020) and our grandson, future Tiger, Dawson (Class of 2035). RHS is definitely a family affair for the Nooches.
I have a passion for teaching anything about the human body: anatomy, physiology, sports medicine and medical principles are my favorite. Today we have so many technological and medical advancements; the health and medical field is constantly changing leaving us with problems to solve and techniques to improve upon. The Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Biomedical Science Program offers four levels of STEM courses and students can complete this CTE program of study for graduation honors. I am amazed at what PLTW students accomplish and the innovative and creative ideas that they come up with in order to solve today's medical problems and to make our future better.
