Mrs. Erin Granucci
I was born and raised in Sacramento CA and graduated from El Camino Fundamental HS. I attended American River JC and graduated with a BS in Kinesiology / Biology minor from Sonoma State University. I lived in Sonoma County for 7 years teaching and coaching 2 years at Rancho Cotate HS prior to moving back to my hometown where I began teaching at Roseville High School in 1998. I've been a premiere level soccer coach for over 25 years after I completed my own soccer playing career at the premier, collegiate and international levels. I have coached boys and girls soccer for numerous years for the Tigers prior to holding the Athletic Director position for nearly 7 years. My husband also teaches and coaches at RHS and we have three children (all who have attended Roseville HS): Kayla (Class of 2011), Sean (Class of 2017), and Taigan (Class of 2020). We are proudly owned by our bulldogs, cats, turles and bearded dragon.
I have a passion for teaching anything about the human body. Anatomy, physiology, and medical principles are my favorite. Today we have so many technological and medical advancements; the health and medical field is constantly changing leaving us with problems to solve and techniques to improve upon. The Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Biomedical Science Program, here at RHS, went into full implementation in the spring of 2016. I am "thrilled" to be a part of a proactive, state of the art, current, hands on, project based program for high school students. I am amazed at what PLTW students accomplish and the innovative and creative ideas that they come up with in order to solve today's medical problems and to make our future better.
Thank you for visiting my page and I hope to see you join the PLTW "family".
