After graduating from Cal Poly SLO with a BS in Mathematics in 1999 I starting my teaching career at a middle school in Orcutt, CA.  After a few years I decided to move home to the Sacramento area and was lucky enough to get a job at RHS starting in the fall of 2002.  In my time at Roseville I have held many positions including cheer coach, class advisor, club advisor, and Math Department chair.   I have also taught every math class from Access/Pre-Algebra to AP Calc and AP Stats.  I'm currently the CCAT district representative for Math, the IM2 lead teacher and the AP Calculus teacher.  During my time at Roseville I also managed to complete my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, get married and have a crazy little boy.  I love teaching and cannot imagine doing anything else with my life.  Helping a student “get it” is one of my greatest joys.  If you need to contact me please email me at mwalton@rjuhsd.us.
