Welcome and Thank You for visiting.
I am starting my 14th year of teaching Math. Though an uncovential path lead me here, this is where I am meant to be. I started by studying City and Regional Planning at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. The job proved to be a bit too political for me, and from there I fell into teaching. Little did I know, I was meant to be in the classroom! I started teaching math in Napa, California, my home town. After 5 years, in 2001, I moved to Rocklin and started teaching at Roseville High School. After many full time years and a couple part time years, I did take a break from teaching to raise my 3 little boys. I was lucky to spend 7 years at home with my boys. While at home with the boys, I kept fresh my tutoring high school students and teaching a few classes at William Jessup University. Then in 2014, I was lucky enough to find my way back to Roseville High School. Now back full time and loving everyday.
I also help with the Tiger Tutoring program after school that provides a safe place for students to come work on any subject and get help when needed. There is always a teacher present overseeing the center and there are students tutors to help all the kids when are seeking help.
I am currently teaching IM2 and IM3. Here are the links to my calendars and syllabus.
