Community Resources
Through partnership with community-based organizations, we are able to expand services through Wellness Centers. We are extremely grateful for the passion and commitment of all the organizations listed below and truly appreciate the work they do with children and families in our community.
KidsFirst Counseling & Family Resource Centers are eager to provide education, resources and support for local children, young adults, parents and families. Our award-winning services including parenting classes, health and wellness programs, financial literacy classes, support groups and counseling are all available at no cost in English and Spanish. With offices in Roseville and Auburn we provide a safe, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere for all we serve throughout Placer County.
Lighthouse provides a comprehensive approach to meeting our client needs. We offer no-to-low cost counseling, educational classes and programs, and assist our clients in obtaining needed resources that help them through a challenging time.
Stand Up Placer is a non-profit community-based organization dedicated to empowering Placer County survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking to heal from the trauma and create new lives of strength and self-sufficiency. We take pride in our community, engaging and inspiring Placer County residents to end the legacy of abuse.
As a member of Feeding America, PFB is part of a nation-wide network of 200 independent food banks securing and distributing food and grocery products. PFB is ever-mindful about the importance of its designation and the high standards set by Feeding America and across the food bank network. Staff and volunteers work diligently each and every day to ensure they are in compliance with Feeding America’s best practices – while honoring PFB’s mission, which is to sustain communities by nourishing families experiencing food insecurity, educating the community about hunger, while advocating for hunger relief.
