Digital Citizenship

Roseville Joint Union High School District is committed to preparing our students to be responsible, contributing members of society and to teaching students how to act with integrity and compassion both online and offline. 

It is the vision of RJUHSD to support students, families and all district staff in developing a comprehensive set of digital citizenship skills and attributes, enabling each to be a responsible and productive user of digital technologies and media.  

Knowing the Law

CIPA: Children’s Internet Protection Act

Schools are required to have measures and policies in place that protect students from obscene, pornographic, or disturbing online material (tied to e-Rate funding)

 
FERPA: Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act

Parents have the right to review student records and schools may disclose directory information about a student unless a parent requests otherwise
