Interdistrict Transfers: RJUHSD interdistrict transfers will be open December 22, 2024 through April 30, 2025. The review of these applications will commence in February 2025 and decisions will be sent via email. Please allow a minimum of 3 weeks for processing after submitting a completed application.
*RJUHSD does NOT require transfer renewals. Once a student is approved for a transfer, the student is able to attend the requested school for their entire high school career, as long as the student continues to meet the transfer requirements (good standing with academics, discipline, and attendance). EXCEPTION: If there is a change of residency, then a new transfer application must be completed.
TRANSFERS FOR THE CURRENT 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR ARE CLOSED AS OF JUNE 30, 2024.
Exceptions: Roseville Joint Union High School District (RJUHSD) will review transfer applications for the 2024-2025 school year for students who have a sibling attending the requested school site during the 2024-2025 school year. The sibling must be an active student during the 2024-2025 school year. Additionally, RJUHSD will review transfer applications for current students who have moved outside the school's boundaries and who wish to continue their enrollment at their current school of attendance. The student applying for the transfer must still meet transfer requirements (2.0 GPA(Intra) or 2.5 (Inter), satisfactory attendance record and satisfactory discipline records).
If you qualify for one of the following exceptions listed above, please contact transfers@rjuhsd.us for a link to the application.
TYPES OF TRANSFERS
1. INTRADISTRICT TRANSFERS
Intradistrict transfers are for RJUHSD students who wish to transfer from their school of residence to another school within the District.
- All Intradistrict transfer requests must be submitted online!
- Incoming 9th-grade students or new students to RJUHSD must submit a proof of residence within RJUHSD, and current grade transcript/grade report, attendance, and behavior records. If the student has an IEP or 504 Plan, please attach the documentation to the online form as well.
- While we encourage students to attend their school of residence, we make other schools available for Intradistrict Transfer when enrollment space is available and there are unique and compelling circumstances.
- Parents are responsible for their student's transportation to school. RJUHSD transportation bus services will not be provided for students attending district schools on an intradistrict or interdistrict transfer.
IMPORTANT: If you are requesting an INTRAdistirct transfer, you must still complete the Aeries online enrollment under your current home address and the school associated with your home address. The online enrollment system is designed to place you at your school of residence and, if the transfer is approved, the Registrar at the receiving/transfer school will pull your online enrollment according to the approved site of attendance for 2024-2025.
