SRM (Standard Reunification Method): https://iloveuguys.org/The-Standard-Reunification-Method.html
In the event of an emergency in which we have to initiate a Reunification for students and parents we will follow the Standard Reunification Method (SRM). There are two types of reunification; on-site and off-site. WAIT for communication from your school site via email, text message, or phone call through Aeries Communication. DO NOT go to the school site to pick up your child during an emergency event.
On-Site: You will pick up your student from their school site (Extended loss of water, electricity, gas leak, ect)
Off-Site: You will pick up your student from our designated off site location. This location will be shared with you in the event of off site reunification through AERIES communication (email, phone call, and /or text) DO NOT come to the school site. (if the school becomes a crime scene or onsite location is unsafe for students and staff)
DRILLS:
Every month our school sites conduct a safety drill. These drills are designed for every staff member and student to engage in safety preparedness practices. Each site practices one of the five Standard Response Protocol (SRP) actions during a drill. The staff communicates with families on drill days to help you discuss your student's responsibilities during a school emergency.
