Mission
Under the leadership of the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, the M&O Department is responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of all district buildings and grounds.
Responsibilities
The M&O department is responsible for approximately 1.5M square feet of buildings and 280 acres of ornamental landscape and sports fields (6 comprehensive high schools, 1 independent study high school, 1 alternative high school, an adult school, District Office, maintenance/facilities building, transportation building, and technology office).
A team of 70 hardworking and dedicated people work each school day to provide a clean, safe and engaging learning environment for all of our students and staff. In the evenings and weekends we support endless school activities and athletic competitions attended by the public. The M&O Department also oversees and welcomes a vast array of community group events year round to our campuses through our online Use of Facilities request program.
