General Information

Thank you for your interest in the Roseville Joint Union High School District. Our District has more than 10,000 students in grades nine through twelve in the communities of Roseville, Granite Bay and Antelope, California. The District is comprised of six comprehensive high schools, one alternative study high school, one independent study high school and one adult school. Our District receives wide acclaim for innovative education programs in a variety of areas. Student achievements at our schools are among the top in the state.

The city of Roseville, located 16 miles northeast of Sacramento, the state capitol, is a metropolitan region offering a vast richness of cultural, educational and recreational amenities that make it one of the fastest growing communities in the region today. Located in Placer County, Roseville offers an abundance of events and activities for people of all ages. Application Process

The Roseville Joint Union High School District advertises all job openings on Edjoin.org, California's premier public education job search website. EDJOIN has very easy-to-follow directions for viewing positions and registering. It allows you to enter your application information one time, save it, and then apply for as many job openings as you wish. Each job position specifies the required additional documents you need to submit with your application.The District only accepts applications submitted online through EDJOIN!The application process for the Roseville Joint Union High School District requires all prospective employees to complete an EDJOIN application online (with the exception of coaching positions - see below).
 
Certificated Staff - When applying on EDJOIN, documents that may be required to be attached to your application include:

  • A brief letter of introduction
  • Current resume
  • Copy of appropriate credential(s) including EL certification
  • NCLB highly qualified status (for core subject areas)
  • Copy of CBEST
  • Copy of CLAD or EL certification
  • Up to three letters of recommendation

Coaching Staff - The following are required:

  • A valid CPR/AED card. (Must be a hands-on course.  Online courses are not accepted.)
  • A valid first aid card. (Must be a hands-on course.  Online courses are not accepted.)
  • A negative tuberculosis (TB) test within the last 60 days.
  • Evidence of knowledge and rules of the sport.
  • Course work or experience related to coaching theory and adolescent psychology.
  • Completion of CIF mandated training course.
  • A valid Concussion Certificate. ("NFHS Concussion in Sports - What You Need to Know")
  • A valid Sudden Cardiac Arrest certificate.

The application process for coaching in Roseville Joint Union High School District requires all prospective employees to complete a district application. The application is online; once you complete the application it should be submitted to the appropriate site athletic director or assistant principal.
 
The application form should then be printed and delivered with all accompanying required materials to: Roseville Joint Union High School District, 1750 Cirby Way, Roseville, CA 95661, no later than the closing date specified for each position.

Athletic Training Staff - The following are required:

  • A valid CPR/AED card. (Must be a hands-on course.  Online courses are not accepted.)
  • Valid CPR/AED card.  (Must be a hands-on course.  Online courses are not accepted.
  • A negative tuberculosis (TB) test within the last 60 days.
  • Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate.
  • Valid Heat Illness Prevention Certificate.
  • Concussion in Sports Certificate.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Certification by an organization recognized by the National Commission on Health Certifying Agencies and the American Medical Association.
  • Certification by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) desired.
  • Valid Concussion Certificate (NFHS Concussion in Sports - What You Need to Know).
  • Valid California driver's license.
