Career Technical Education (CTE) is a program that helps students learn important skills for future jobs and college. It includes several courses taken over a few years, combining regular school subjects with hands-on learning about different careers. CTE gives students a clear path to success after high school, whether they choose to go to college or start a job.

The Roseville Joint Union High School District has many Career Technical Education (CTE) programs at all of our high schools, including our alternative education schools. Each high school offers between five and six different career programs for students to choose from.

Health Science and Medical Technology

RJUHSD also has a CTE Internship Program that helps students get real-world experience by working with local businesses. This allows students to practice and improve the skills they learned in their CTE classes.

Additionally, Adelante High School hosts a Clinical Medical Assisting program and Automotive Services Technician program, which are open to eligible students from all RJUHSD schools.

CTE gives students the chance to explore their interests while strengthening their school learning, helping them make informed career choices.
Through CTE, students gain real-world experience by learning hands-on skills and working with industry professionals.
Completing a CTE pathway is a great way for students who are thinking about their future to stay engaged and motivated in school.
