Instructional materials are reviewed and selected through a collaborative process that includes educators, students, families, and the Board of Trustees.

RJUHSD invites students, families, staff, and community members to review instructional materials currently being considered for adoption and provide feedback.

Instructional Material Adoption Process
RJUHSD regularly reviews instructional materials to ensure they remain current, standards-aligned, accessible, and responsive to student learning needs. When new core instructional materials are considered, teachers and district staff review available resources, pilot selected materials when appropriate, gather stakeholder feedback, and develop a recommendation for Board approval.
Families and community members are provided opportunities to review proposed instructional materials and provide feedback during the adoption process.
