Out of State: Affordability, WUE, and Finances

Many students think that attending an out of state school is beyond their reach financially. Many also think that going out of state is always going to be more costly than staying in state when that isn’t always the case. In this session you will learn about the financial side of going out of state and will be introduced to ways to make studying out of state more affordable including learning about the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) which is a steep nonresident tuition savings program.

    Writing Your College Essay
We will discuss tips on how to put your best foot forward when writing the college essay. Our panel of seasoned admission counselors will discuss some do’s and don’ts of essay writing and will share tips from their combined experience in the field of college admissions.
