Oakmont Hall of Fame Inductee - 2018
Nicki Mitchell- Student Athlete Class of 1991A 4 year, 3 sport athlete, Nicki earned frosh coaches award, JV captain and best all around and varsity captain and best all around (12) in volleyball. In basketball, she was frosh best offensive and most inspirational, while at JV(10) she won MVP, most defensive, and coaches awards. In varsity volleyball, she was honorable mention for all league (12). Nicki threw shot, discus and ran both hurdles in her track years. She was the SFL 100 m hurdles champion (12). Her fondest memories were of her senior year in basketball when OHS was 29-3, SFL champs, and played for the division I section championship. She went on to play basketball at Sierra College and was offered a scholarship to play at Sonoma State.
