    Alan Thacker- Student Athlete Class of 1979

    An outstanding 3 sport athlete, Alan was best in wrestling. He finished 2nd in the SFL (9) then was champion 3 times (10,11,12). He was OHS's first wrestler to place at the state meet, 5th, as a senior.  He was also a 2 time all american wrestler in college, as well as a gold at the US  Greco-Roman Junior Olympics.  In football, he was 2nd team all SFL as a cornerback in football and also 1st team All SFL as a center fielder in baseball. He even pitched a no hitter during his frosh baseball season. His top memory for any sport was crushing the heavily favored cross town tigers in football his senior year.
