Oakmont Hall of Fame Inductee - 2018
John Lonzo- Student Athlete Class of 1970John was a member of the first 2 varsity champion teams at Oakmont (wrestling, baseball). He was team MVP for football and baseball, twice each. He was team captain and all league for baseball twice (11,12). First team all Metro in football (12), John was unanimous pick for 1st team all SFL on both offense and defense (12). Coach Poole called him "the best football player I have ever coached." He played in Optimist all star football game. John played football (2 years) and baseball (3 years) at USF.
