    Mentoring Program
     
     
    Project Growth Engagement Team (ProjectGET) is a peer-to-peer English Language mentoring program designed to support the growth of English Language Learners. Through ProjectGET, English Language Learners can attain academic success through the support of their mentors by creating a welcoming and supporting school environment.   Mentors will engage English Learners to practice and develop their English skills through weekly conversations and participate and scheduled activities and fieldtrips.   Mentors will foster a culturally sensitive relationship in which English Learners will feel comfortable expressing and sharing their cultural identity.

    ProjectGET Mentor applicants should be natural proactive leaders with caring and nonjudgmental personalities.  Mentors must also have an interest in diversity.
