Schools are required to have measures and policies in place that protect students from obscene, pornographic, or disturbing online material (tied to e-Rate funding)FERPA: Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act
Parents have the right to review student records and schools may disclose directory information about a student unless a parent requests otherwise
