    The Granite Bay Test SAT/ACT test prep will begin February 2, 2023.  There will be both in-person (Granite Bay & Rocklin) and zoom options available.

    While some schools have gone test-optional for admissions many schools and financial aid/scholarship programs still require a test score. 

    Financial aid awards at a select number of schools will still depend on test scores and GPA.

    For the latest information on SAT tests during COVID-19 and school closures, please visit the College Board website.  

    How much should students prepare for the SAT and/or the ACT? Take a common-sense approach. Use the free materials available in the College & Career Center to become familiar with what is expected. If more information is desired, local bookstores have books at a relatively low cost.
