    Summer Science Camp

The summer science camp is open to all middle school and high school students (first-come, first-served basis). This year, we are pleased to partner with Joanie Block and Lael McAuliffe of Kids in Medicine- Seattle (KIMS) to bring two new and exciting science programs to CHS! Enrollees can choose between a number of different programs (you can choose up to two) and attend either full day or half day. Programs include Forensic Science (KIMS), Microbiology, Anatomy (KIMS), Biotechnology, Physics and Chemical Drug Modeling. There are no requirements (other than age) to enroll in any of the programs. This program runs June 21-25th, 9:00am-4:00pm (if you choose full day).

    FIRST Experience

The FIRST experience is a more rigorous and in-depth program where enrollees will complete original research and present their findings at the conclusion of the program. It is a one week program that can hold a maximum of 12-15 students. To apply, students must have completed their freshman yeah of high school and taken at least one science course. The deadline to apply is May 21st, at which time, our selection committee will pick 12-15 applicants to participate in the program. This program runs July 19th-23rd, 9-5pm.
