Safe Riding
- Roseville Laws for Riding
- Please wear a helmet... it's the law.
- Do NOT weave in-and-out of traffic - ride with the flow of traffic and obey driving rules to ensure you are seen by motorists.
- Slow down in the parking lot!
- Slow down during arrival and dismissal times. When there's a lot of people (in cars, riding, and walking), you moving quickly will only increases the chances of an accident.
- Do NOT assume motorists see you. Stop and pause and use your arms to signal when you are turning.
- Yell out what side you are passing a pedestrian on with "On your left/right!" so the pedestrian is clear of your presence.
- Slow down when you are passing pedestrians.
- Be careful passing parked cars in case someone opens their door suddenly because they don't see you coming.
- Stay off your phone.
- Wear items to help make you visible when riding at night (e.g. bright clothes, headlight).
- Only wear one ear bud so you can hear your surroundings.

The school is not responsible for lost or stolen items. It is the student's responsibility to practice safety and securing bicycles in the designated bike racks.
