Creating a 4 Year Academic Plan Instructions (current 9-11th grade students only)

    Dear GBHS Families,

As we close out the first semester of this school year, we are ramping up for the 2023 - 2024 school year!  All schedules for the spring semester (starting January 11, 2023) are complete and the schedule change request window is officially closed.  We have made our best effort to accommodate as many requests as possible. If you were unable to get a course you wanted or if you would like the best chances of getting a course you want in a future school year, make sure to read the rest of this message carefully.

Here are some important dates for your reference and planning:

December 21st - January 20th: Students create and/or complete a 4-year academic plan in Aeries

Students will make their course requests for next school year, 2023-2024, in Aeries using the Academic Plan.  You can use this tool to map out courses that you would like to take from now through the end of your senior year.   Please review this presentation for instructions on how to complete this.  Accurate completion of these plans helps us plan appropriately to be able to get as many students in the courses they want as possible.

Please spend some time reviewing the course catalog and course selection sheets to assist you in completing the 4-year Academic Plan in Aeries.  These resources are also linked on the homepage of our school website.

The editing window for these plans will close for the year on January 20, 2023, and will not reopen until next school year.

Once these are completed, counselors will review and approve all plans. They will meet with EVERY current student between February 6th - March 3rd to ensure that the plans you have created will meet our graduation requirements and your personal academic goals.

We hope you have an awesome break!

    In Partnership,

    GBHS Counseling and Administration Teams
