Show your school spirit by wearing all navy! On Wednesday, October 19th, deck out in all your sports gear. Closing off the month of October is red ribbon week, so wear all red on that Wednesday! Enjoy the fresh start of a new quarter, and can’t wait to see the sea of blue on Wednesday! "Go For Gold!"

    • No-Go Policy & Senior Conduct - It's a new quarter and we will be implementing the No-Go List for all students (grades 9-12). Students who miss too much school or are suspended will be placed on the No-Go List and may not attend school functions during this time. Please familiarize yourself so we can ensure a successful year!

    • Construction Update
      • We are pleased to announce that our new building, Grove (located to the left of the Admin Building when facing from the parking lot), will be opening in early November. This new addition will provide more lunch seating and space for students, CTE classrooms, and a place for Performing Arts to perform. More info to come as we get closer!
      • The pool is also near completion (end of November) and we hope to hold a special celebration hosted by the Aquatics team before Winter Break. More info to come!

    • Communications Update - we have been working on a few things for you to help improve our level of communication and access to information. Here are a few updates:
      • Instagram - we just launched our official Instagram social media and are posting almost daily: @westparkhighschool. Tag us with your school-related photo so we can repost!
      • West Park Weekly Updates - this newsletter published at 10am every Sunday (excluding school closures) on our website and also pushed out through Parent Square to parents, students, and staff so everyone can see the week-at-a-glance.
      • Teacher Pages - all teachers have a teacher page under "Staff Pages" with an email address.
      • Website - as the year progresses, we are working hard to build webpages for every event and topic related to West Park so anyone can access the information at any time throughout the year.
      • Feedback - if you have any feedback or suggestions, we are always looking to improve! Email us at westpark@rjuhsd.com.
      • Communications Protocol - we have outlined whom families can contact when they have a question, complaint, or need assistance working out an issue.

    • Senior Portraits *SENIORS* - the last day Seniors can get their photo taken and make it in the yearbook is Nov. 19th

Must do so by Nov. 1st to avoid the $40 late fee. Students taking AP classes in the spring may purchase next semester. Click the link for more details.
