Advanced Placement (AP) Testing
AP gives students the chance to tackle college-level work while they're still in high school—whether they're learning online or in the classroom. And through taking AP Exams, students can earn college credit and placement.

Buy AP Exams
To pay with cash or check, please go in-person to the Finance Office.Create a College Board account.
Do not use your school email. You will need to access your scores after graduation, so use a non-school email so you can access it after you leave RJUHSD. You will use this same email to login each year throughout high school and after graduation to share scores with preferred colleges.MyAP Access

Students who qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch qualify for a reduced test cost of only $10 (based on household income). If you are not already signed up for Free/Reduced Lunch, click here for the application. See Mrs. Cleveland in the Finance Office if you need assistance.Rules:
- Students may take an AP exam only in the subject area that the student is currently enrolled in or has completed sometime in their high school enrollment.
- Only West Park students may take the AP exam at our test site location (we do not accommodate non-West Park students to test with our students for the safety of our staff and students).
- We only offer the paper and pencil version of the AP exam (digital exams are not available).
- Testing will take place during the school day during the official testing dates/times issued by the College Board.
- Testing will take place in Foothill.

Important Dates
Fall 2022
9/8/23 - AP Exams for FALL classes go on sale ($100 per exam and $10 for students who qualify for Fee Waiver/Free and Reduced Lunch).
11/1/23 - Last day to purchase AP exams for FALL classes without a late fee.
11/2/23 - Late ordering available for a $40 fee.
11/2/23-day of exam - $40 fee for any cancellations.
11/10/23 - Last day to buy a late exam (with $40 fee)
Spring 2024
1/19/24 - AP Exams for SPRING classes go on sale ($100 per exam and $10 for students who qualify for Fee Waiver/Free and Reduced Lunch ).
3/1/24 - Last day to purchase AP exams for SPRING classes without a late fee.
3/2/24 - Late ordering available for a $40 fee.
3/2/24-day of exam - $40 fee for any cancellations.

Fees
Exam - $100 per exam/$10 for students who qualify for Fee Waiver/Free and Reduced Lunch
Late Fee - $40 (starts 11/2/22 for students in an AP class 1st semester; starts 3/2/23 for students in an AP class 2nd semester)
Cancellation Fee - $40 (as of 11/2/22-day of exam for students in an AP class 1st semester; as of 3/2/23 for students in an AP class 2nd semester)

Day of Testing
Day of AP Testing - testing will be the first 2 weeks in May. Good Luck, Panthers!
- You will be notified the last week in April via email with your testing room assignments.
- If you have an AM test... please report to your testing room by 7:30am.
- If you have a PM test... you will be excused from class at 11am to report to the Grove for an early lunch. Choices include PB&J, Turkey Sandwich, or Chicken Caesar Wrap. Then, report to the 3rd floor of Foothill by 11:30am ready to test!

Scores
AP exam scores typically arrive the end of June or beginning of July. Students can log into their College Board account to view and to forward their scores to their college of choice.
