Mrs. Kali Linsenbach
Hello!
I am an English Teacher here at West Park, currently teaching English 9 and English 11! I was raised right here in Roseville, and I attended Woodcreek High School right down the road before West Park was built. I value this community so much, as it embodies the best of Northern California. Even though it is a bigger city today than it was when I was growing up, it still maintains its small-town feel because of how truly invested all residents are in making sure our community thrives. I left Roseville for 4 years as my husband and I embarked on a new journey in 29 Palms while he served in the United States Marine Corps. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked in criminal research and the service industry. I returned to Roseville, finished my teaching credential, and obtained my Master's in Teaching. I believe that helping students grow in their writing, reading, speaking, and listening will help them move forward in life with the crucial building blocks they need to be effective communicators and critical thinkers. Over the past several years, I have taught CP English 9, CP English 10, CP English 11, and ELD!
My overarching passion in life is being of service to others in all that I do. This year I am advising the West Park Chapter of National Honor Society, alongside Jennifer Pajcin. NHS is recognized across the country as the premier scholastic organization for high school students. Members serve in the community by creating and running activities for various fundraising purposes. I couldn't be more excited about getting started for this school year and helping students become even more involved in the West Park community!
I am so incredibly grateful to be a West Park Panther, and serve in the community that I know and love!
