Kris Rosa - Student Athlete Class of 1985

       Kris Rosa (’85) was an outstanding goalie for the Oakmont soccer team. Twice an all-SFL first teamer (11,12), he was also selected as All-Metro first team (11). Both years he played varsity, the Vikes won their first two SFL varsity championships. Kris was heavily scouted. He practiced with the national junior Olympics team and made it as an alternate. Besides his great record of athletic stops as a goalie, Kris once stopped a shot on goal, then punted it through the air and on one bounce it went over the opposing goalie’s head and into the net.
