Randy Georgis - Student Athlete Class of 1977

       Randy Georgis (’77) played baseball for 3 years at Oakmont. He was on JV as a sophomore and started on varsity as a junior. As a senior, he really busted out. Randy led the Sac area in batting at .481 and RBI with 44. As a result, he was selected All SFL first team and team MVP. On top of that, he was selected as the Baseball Player of the Year for the Sacramento area. Randy’s key moments were “playing baseball with my teammates and for Oakmont. We played hard and had a great coach in Ted Acres. During the Playoffs, Oakmont finished higher than any other Sacramento area team
