When checking the website link daily, if there are dates entered in your child's specific teacher/period slot, it means we have been alerted that your child may have been exposed to an individual diagnosed with COVID-19. If your child did not attend in-person classes, or school-related activities on the dates listed, there is no action required. If your student was present in the classes on the dates listed, please read below.
What does this mean for your child?
-
Your child may remain in school and participate in school-sponsored activities unless they develop symptoms or test positive for COVID-19.
-
It is recommended your student wear a mask indoors per state recommendation if exposed.
-
It is recommended to get your student tested: students, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status or prior infection, should get tested for COVID-19 with at least one diagnostic test obtained within 3-5 days after last exposure or sooner if your child starts to show symptoms. You may schedule your test at an OptumServe Testing Site by calling (888) 634-1123 or by visiting www.lhi.care/covidtesting or use any of our district sites for testing. Over-the-counter (at-home) FDA emergency-approved tests may also be used, such as those distributed by the District to students.
-
If your child develops symptoms of COVID-19 or tests positive for COVID-19, please ensure they isolate at home immediately and notify the school office right away by completing this form which is also located on our school website. For questions and concerns, please email us, visit our website oakmont.org, or call us at 916-782-3781.
Thank you for your cooperation and support in helping us to maintain a healthy and safe learning environment.
*Two weeks of spreadsheets will remain on this page at a time. If you need spreadsheets prior to those listed on the webpage, please reach out to the nurse or school office.
