    Leslie Nederveld - Student Athlete Class of 1998

     

    Cross Country, she qualified for the state meet all 4 years. She was all-CAL 3 times (10,11,12) and made the San Joaquin Section 2nd team (12). Her top 3-mile CC time was 18:52. Leslie also was also honored on other teams-varsity soccer soccer MVP (12), frosh basketball MVP, and Most Inspirational 3 times- JV hoops, JV soccer and varsity soccer. The senior class president remembers feeling overwhelmed over practices, games, homework and activities, but she has never been disappointed or regretted giving 100% effort. Her advice: ” Go out and play, have fun.”
