Oakmont Hall of Fame Inductee - 2021
Sean Sahlberg - Student Athlete Class of 1992Sean participated in three sports each of his Frosh-Jr. years and two his Sr. year, including: Baseball, Football, Basketball and Track & Field. He was part of the ’91 SFL champion football team, and he started on both offense (WR) and defense (safety). As a Jr. he was team MVP and Honorable mention SFL at QB. As a Senior, he earned All SFL as a safety. Sean also was all-Metro and all-Superior CA as a punter (46.4 yards per punt). He earned a Silver medal at the JV Section meet as a member of the 1600-meter relay team as a Soph. Sean was a successful jumper and sprinter. In college, Sean was 1st team All-Conference at American River and then at Lake Forest College, Ill.
