Introducing the 2024 Criminal Justice Pathways Summer Workshop!

Criminal Justice Pathways Summer Workshop is a four-day experience of the criminal justice system held at the Santucci Justice Center in Roseville. It is designed to educate youth on what it is like to be at the center of the criminal justice system in our community by preserving public safety and enhancing the quality of life in Placer County by prosecuting criminals, investigating crime, assisting victims and survivors of crime, protecting the health and well being of children, and deterring juveniles from criminal activity.

We will accomplish this through presentations, tours, hands on activities, as well as meet and hear from many of our Placer County partners, including the Superior Court, Probation, Corrections, and many of our local law enforcement agencies.

The dates of the Workshop are Monday, July 15 through Thursday, July 18, 2024.

We ask that kids are 14 -17 years old, live in Placer County, and attend all 4 days.  Space is limited!

It will start promptly at 9am.

    Drop off starts at 8:45.

We will be done each day at 2 pm

Please pick up no later than 2:30pm.

The Summer Workshop will be held at the Placer County District Attorney’s Office 10810 Justice Center Drive Roseville, CA 95678.  Pick up and drop off will be in front of our office in our lobby area each day.

Kids attending will have snacks (such as chips, fruit, granola bars, muffins, etc.) as well as water and Gatorade to drink.  We will also have different lunches provided each day.
