"Assessment is an integral part of instruction, as it determines whether or not the goals of education are being met. Assessment affects decisions about grades, placement, advancement, instructional needs, curriculum, and, in some cases, funding. Assessment inspire us to ask these hard questions: "Are we teaching what we think we are teaching?" "Are students learning what they are supposed to be learning?" "Is there a way to teach the subject better, thereby promoting better learning?" Eutopia Webside
When it comes to CAASPP Assessments this year, it is different than usual because teachers and students experienced a different way of learning online. Although testing this year, may not be the best indicator of learning and teaching, results can provide some data on the learning experience during COVID-19.
Sometimes life throws curve balls our way, but we must learn to adjust and keep living. The more we struggle, the more we learn and we discover that we are shaped by both our struggles and our successes. All we can expect from our students and staff at Antelope High School this year, is that everyone put forths their best efforts given the challenging conditions we've encountered this past year.
We are proud of our teachers and students dedication to learning and adapting to various challenges. Just do your best! Go Titans!
