On Thursday, March 23, at 6:30pm, GBHS will be featuring a unique speaking engagement. David Mann, who spent 12 years practicing law in San Francisco, will share his personal story, including his experience battling substance abuse. His compelling story will include a review of the brain chemistry of addiction, as well as a discussion of the behavioral health consequences of the disease. His presentation will include a case study of an addicted attorney, and he will address both systemic and individual solutions to the problem, with specific strategies and available resources. Parents, please consider joining Mr. Mann in the GBHS library on March 23 at 6:30pm.
Please RSVP (seats are limited!) by filling out the simple form found here: http://tinyurl.com/GBHS-March23
